“Old Florida Style Datil Pepper Barbeque Rub” and

“Old Florida Style Datil Pepper Honey Barbeque Sauce”

Barbeque Burgers- Add 1 to 1 ½ tablespoons of Old Florida Style Barbeque

Rub and 2 tablespoons of Old Florida Style Honey Barbeque Sauce to each pound of ground beef. Form into ¼ pound patties and grill, flipping only once.

Too much sauce will make the burgers fall apart.

Barbeque Baby Back Ribs- Remove ribs from package, rinse with cold water

and dry. Rub both sides of the ribs with a thin coat of vegetable oil. Rub in 1 ½

tablespoons of Old Florida Style Barbeque rub on each side of the ribs. Place

on a cookie sheet, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate over night. Pre heat

an oven to 275 degrees. Unwrap the pan of ribs and add ½ cup of water to the

bottom of the pan. Cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil and cook for 3

hours. Uncover and carefully dump off the liquid. Place ribs on a preheated

char grill and brush on Old Florida Style Honey Barbeque Sauce. You only

need to caramelize the sauce. Be careful not to burn the sauce. Serve!

Barbeque Chicken- Rinse and dry one chicken cut into pieces. Combine 5

tablespoons of melted butter with ¼ cup of virgin olive oil. Add ¼ cup plus 2

tablespoons of Old Florida Style Barbeque Rub. Brush the mixture onto the

chicken pieces thoroughly. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 70

minutes or grill slowly until you have an internal temperature of 165 degrees

You can brush on Old Florida Style Honey Barbeque sauce during the last 10

minutes of cooking, if you wish.

Barbeque Brisket-

1 4-6 pound brisket

½ cup Old Florida Style Barbeque Rub

2 tablespoons of olive oil

1 cup of Old Florida Style Honey Barbeque Sauce

Rinse and dry the brisket, coat the brisket with a thin layer of olive oil. Rub in

the Old Florida Style Barbeque Rub on both sides of the brisket. Place the

seasoned brisket, fat side up, on a double layer of foil and seal the edges

Completely to retain the moisture inside while cooking, Place the foil packet in

a roasting pan and cook at 325 degree for 5 hours, until tender. Open the

packet and add the Old Florida Style Honey Barbeque sauce, reseal and cook

for another 30 minutes.

Barbeque Shrimp- Peel and devein 1 pound of large shrimp (21-25 ct). Mix

together 1 tablespoon of Old Florida Barbeque Rub with 2 tablespoons of

olive oil in a gallon baggie, add shrimp and toss, being sure to coat all of the

shrimp. Place the shrimp on a grill and cook for around 4 to 5 minutes. Shrimp

do not take long to cook. Use Old Florida Style Barbeque sauce to dip the

shrimp in before eating.
